Year in brief
With such a high level of interest and participation in the programme
it is important to ensure that all volunteers are provided with
on tap training and support throughout the duration of the scheme.
The programme normally lasts for one year but it is not unusual
for the mentoring relationship to end earlier, when the students
feel they have achieved what they wanted from the programme.
The mentoring lifecycle is designed to provide all volunteers
with the support required to overcome initial nerves, break the
ice and build successful mentoring relationships. Take a look
at the year in brief to get a glimpse of the mentoring year and
find out how you can help a student reach their full potential!
