In April 2004 the Hackney Schools' Mentoring Programme featured
in Young People Now magazine as an example of
good mentoring practice.
Tim Burke, of Young People Now, examines the
issues surrounding Mentoring and whether "giving it a
snazzy name makes it different from traditional voluntary work".
The article specifically looks at the different types of mentoring,
questions its role in society and also provides examples from
different organisations.
