"This
is MY HACKNEY
And I’d have it no other way!"
"My Hackney, My Hackney", a poem sent
in by Tianna from Cardinal Pole School, has made
us want to find out what you love and hate about
our very own Hackney! Is there anything you would
change or anything you would like to see more
of in Hackney? What ever your views, we want to
hear them!

"Where else in London do you have such
a full on mix of culture (Ridley Road Market / Dalston
junction), history (take a walk up the Narrow Way to
the medieval St John’s Tower, walk through the
Victorian graveyard, past the Georgian Town Houses,
past the 15th Century Sutton House, and end up facing
the 1960’s block that houses Homerton Boys Technology
College), beautiful landscapes (The Lea Valley), where
urban decay (unfortunately too numerous to mention)
meets quiet village greens (De Beauvoir and Clapton
Squares)."
