Stoke Newington School

Stoke Newington School media Arts College is a community school. It is a specialist Media Arts College. There are 1229 boys and girls in the school.

The school policy is to enter all students for GCSE and to allow particularly able students to sit some of their examinations early in year 8, 9 and 10. The school has just introduced a uniform for years 7 to 9. The minimum requirement for homework in year 7 is seven hours a week and this increases as students go through school. All students have two weeks work experience giving a practical insight into the world of work.
